The Clips Project

CLIPS (Cloud Approach for Innovation in Public Services) project aims to introduce a new approach to delivering innovative public services, through the cloud-computing methodology involving the key stakeholder community in the whole process (PPPP public-private-people-partnership). The main idea of CLIPS is to provide to the community a inclusive accessible methodology and a toolkit which allow civil servants and other external stakeholders (both citizens and businesses) to co-operate in the conceiving and the development of new cloud-based services, starting from a set of basic micro-services already available in the “cloud”. Sparta Technologies will be working with Stockport council and other EU partners in initial testing with 2,000 citizens and 200 businesses, further stage 2 with 200,000 citizens in Stockport to be part of pilot.
